Please pray my brother has joy and peace.

We are glad to join you in praying for your brother, that he may find true joy and peace. We are reminded of a verse in Romans that speaks of this:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Before we pray though, we would like to take a moment to remind you of what Jesus Christ said.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

We are not to just assume that everyone has the joy and peace that comes from believing in Jesus Christ. We must believe in Jesus Christ and accept him as our Savior.

If you shall confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10

We encourage you to consider these verses and make sure you have made this decision for yourself. Please pray fervently for your brother to have the joy and peace of the Lord.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the brother of Anonymous. We pray that You fill his heart with Your joy and peace, that he may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. We also pray that Your will be done in his life. We ask that You draw him close to You, and that he may come to know the true joy and peace that come from believing in Jesus Christ as his Lord, and Savior.

We also pray for Anonymous and ask Your guidance in their life as well. Let them also continue to seek Your face, and trust in Your will for their life and the life of their brother. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
