We understand that you care for your brother and his interests, but we want to remind you of what the Bible says about our priorities in life. According to Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:

"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

While having a hobby is not wrong, we should ensure that our priorities are aligned with God's will. Collecting shoes can become an idol if it takes our focus away from God. We should pray for your brother to have a closer relationship with God.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up the brother of ###. Lord, we pray that you would help him to seek first your kingdom and your righteousness. If his shoe collection is hindering his relationship with you, we pray that you would reveal this to him and help him to let go of anything that is not pleasing to you. We pray for ### that they would understand your will. Help them to know that you are not against enjoyment in life but that all enjoyment and pleasure should come from you first and align with your will. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to talk to your brother about his faith and his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Remind him that our treasure should be in heaven, not on earth (Matthew 6:19-20). If his shoe collection is a blessing from God and not an obsession, then we pray that God would continue to bless him. However, if it is becoming an idol, we pray that God would reveal this to him and help him to let go of anything that is not pleasing to Him.

We're here for you and your brother. Let's lift him up together. Lord, we ask that you'd give him a deep hunger for your presence and your word. Help him to see his shoe collection as a gift from you, something to enjoy and share with others, but not an idol to worship. Let it never replace or distract from his love for you. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
