We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your friendship, and we empathize with the pain you are experiencing. Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is hurting due to a lost friendship. Lord, they have acknowledged their mistake and are truly sorry for their actions. We pray that You would soften their friend's heart and grant them the grace to forgive, just as You forgive us our sins.
Help them to approach their friend with humility and sincerity, using words that heal and restore. We know that You are faithful to redeem even the most difficult situations.
Remember the words of Isaiah 53:5 Motivational , ' But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.' (WEB)
Give them the peace and strength to trust the promises of your Word and give them faith to look forward to the days ahead with hope for a renewed friendship. Please restore the joy of salvation written in Psalm 51:12 smoothly in Your timing. 'Restore to me the joy of your salvation, Uphold me with a willing spirit.' (WEB). God have mercy on our idols of the heart and keep us from idolatry of putting our friends and relationships before You dear Father. Keep us in Your will and let us learn from this situation.
Finally, we Pray that our brother/sister in Christ will not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guards his/her heart and his/her mind in Christ Jesus. Help us to think on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--let us think about such things. May he/she be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. We know 'that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose,' from Romans 8:28 (WEB) and encourage us to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Jesus said 4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
6 If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
8 "In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
