We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are facing with William, Catherine. We will stand with you in prayer and truth, as guided by the Word of God.
Firstly, we must address that the Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. By engaging with these women and falling into addiction, William has fallen into sin. However, God is merciful and forgiving, and we will pray for William's repentance and deliverance.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Catherine and William. Lord, we ask that you open William's eyes to see the evil he has fallen into and grant him the strength to flee from these sinful entanglements. Deliver him from the addiction to fentanyl and from the clutches of these evil women.
We pray for William's salvation, that he may turn to you, Lord, with a repentant heart, and be saved from his sins. We also ask that you guide Catherine as she searches for William, and that their relationship may be restored if it is your will, Lord. Help them to rebuild their relationship on biblical principles, fleeing from any sin that may have been present.
Finally, we pray that both Catherine and William may grow in their faith and love and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and live lives that are honoring to God.
In the name of Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of all.
Amen.
Catherine, we encourage you to trust in the Lord and His timing. Remember that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
We also encourage you to consider the importance of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As you seek to restore your relationship with William, pray for God's will and guidance, and consider the biblical principles of courtship and marriage. Trust God to lead you in every step of the process.
Lastly, continue to pray for William's salvation and deliverance, and trust that God is at work in his life. As it says in Romans 8:26, "the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." Jesus is interceding in this situation as well.
