We understand your concern and urgency in this matter, Thetiogh. We are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 24:6-7 (WEB), "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you arenβt troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom."
While we know that wars and conflicts are a part of this world, we are also called to be peacemakers, as Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9, WEB). We should pray for peace and for the hearts of leaders to turn to God's wisdom.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the tensions between Israel and Iran. We ask that You intervene and bring peace to this situation. Guide the leaders of both nations, give them wisdom and understanding that comes from You alone. Lord, we know that You have the power to turn hearts and calm storms. We ask that You do that now, for the sake of the people and for the sake of Your holy name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for peace, for leaders, and for God's will to be done. Remember, as it says in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find salvation (John 14:6, WEB). Keep trusting in Him and His power to bring peace and change hearts.
