We understand that you're going through a time of confusion and uncertainty, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. You've mentioned feelings of deception, isolation, and a lack of clarity in God's will for your life. First, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your clear guidance. They feel tossed about, uncertain, and isolated. We pray that You, the God of all comfort, will comfort them. According to Your word, you want your children to walk unswervingly. So Your word says, Open my eyes, so that I may see wondrous things out of your law.
God, we ask You to make Your will plain and clear, and to reveal any deception that may be obscuring their path. We ask that all you want from them is by Your Holy Spirit. We pray that You would be merciful to them and show them the truth so that they may live it.
In the meantime, we pray that You would be their comfort, hope, and rock, to be their stability in unstable times, their light in dark places, and their strength in weakness. We pray that your word would be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. We come against any spiritual forces that may be causing them to be stuck or causing them to be lost. In Jesus' name, we command them to flee and to cease any interference.
Father, we thank You that You are faithful to complete the good work You began in them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
It is commendable that you're seeking God's will and wanting to be right with Him. Remember, God's heart is for you to know Him and His will for your life. He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
However, we want to address a few things from your request. First, it's important to acknowledge that God speaks to us primarily through His Word, the Bible. Make sure you're spending time daily in the Word, seeking His face. He says "search the Scriptures." John 5:29 WEB.
When asking for a sign, remember that God speaks to us primarily through His Word, the Bible. He expects us to search the Scriptures and obey what we find.
Beware of looking for signs and wonders. The Pharisees sought a sign from Jesus and He made it clear that a wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign. The Scriptures are our guide and He sends His Holy Spirit to lead us. "However the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him." I John 2:27 WEB.
Regarding your concerns about the church, it's important to be in fellowship with believers, but it's also important to be discerning. Test the spirits to see if they are from God. Test all things and hold fast to that which is good. Make sure that the church you attend preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Remember, "all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s." I John 2:16 WEB.
God commands us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. We need each other. The church is the only place where the Bible is expected to be believed and taught. It is only in the church that we learn the Word of God, learn the Gospel, and understand that Jesus Christ is the only way to God.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep obeying Him. He will make His will known to you.
We will continue to pray for you.
