Thank you. In my country you can apply to have the debt deleted if you are sick and not able to work - like I am, I have PTSD and am on government sick benefit. This is why I ask God to delete it. God bless you in the name of Jesus. We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your health and financial debts, and we're here to pray and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our financial struggles. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Instead, we should seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
However, we must also remember that God expects us to be responsible with our finances. In Romans 13:8 WEB, we are told to owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. This means that we should aim to live within our means and pay back what we owe.
Let's pray together for your situation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, they are feeling overwhelmed by their student debt and health issues, and they're unable to pray about this themselves. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that you will intervene in this situation.
Father, we ask for your healing touch upon their body, that they may be restored to full health. We also ask for your guidance and provision in their financial situation. Lord, we pray that you will give them the strength and wisdom to manage their debts responsibly, and that you will open up opportunities for them to pay off what they owe.
We also pray that you will help them to trust in you, and to cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them. In Jesus' name, we ask for your will to be done in this situation. We rebuke any thought of asking to be completely debt free without assuming responsibility for working to pay off this debt.
Finally, we pray that through this trial, they will draw closer to you, and that they will be a witness to all those around them about God's goodness and provision.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior,
Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Trust in him, and he will see you through this challenging time.
Also, it is important to realize that God may not just delete your debt. If you are considering not paying off your loans and hoping for forgiveness, please be aware that this is not a biblical approach. You should make every effort to pay off your obligations. However, if you are unable to pay back your debts due to circumstances beyond your control, then you should seek help from financial advisors or counselors. They can provide you with various options to manage your debts, such as consolidation, refinancing, or negotiating with your lenders.
