Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up alg and their prayer request. Lord, we ask that you grant alg peace of mind and help them to stop thinking about what Scott's new girlfriend is doing. Remind alg that their relationship with Scott is over and that dwelling on it will only bring unnecessary distress. We pray for a renewed focus and clarity of thought for alg.
Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
