We are glad to join you in prayer and to encourage you in your journey. It's wonderful that you are seeking love for your family and yourself. God's love is pured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given to us. This is outlined in Romans 5:5 WEB. "and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
First, let's ensure that we have a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It's also only by Jesus that we can be saved. This is outlined in John 14:6 WEB. "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.. Also, in Acts 4:12 WEB. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now let's pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved soul who seeks a greater love for their family and themselves. First, we pray that they may know You more deeply and experience the love that You have for them. We know that Your love is perfect and casts out all fear. (1 John 4:18 WEB). We ask that You fill their heart with Your love, that it may overflow to their family and those around them.
We pray for their family, that each member may feel Your love and draw closer to You. May their home be a place of peace, joy, and unity, reflecting the love that You have for each one of them. (Colossians 3:14 WEB) "And to charity I beseech you, and which is the bond of perfection;"
We also pray for this individual, that they may love themselves in a healthy and godly way, understanding that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. (Psalm 139:14 WEB) "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that exceedingly well."
We rebuke any feelings of selfishness, low self-worth, or unhealthy focus on self, and we ask that You help them to see themselves as You see them, beloved and precious in Your sight. (Ephesians 2:10 WEB) "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to love others as we love ourselves. It's in His name that we pray. Amen.
