We understand your desire to travel, meet new people, and make new friends, but we want to encourage you to approach this from a biblical perspective. The Bible tells us to be sober in all things and to put our trust in God, not in the fleeting pleasures of this world. As it is written in 1 Timothy 6:17, Charge them who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
First, we want to remind you that true joy and contentment come from a right relationship with God, not from worldly experiences or the number of friends you have. As it is written in Psalm 37:4, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Secondly, we want to encourage you to consider the company you keep. Proverbs 13:20 says, He who walks with wise men will be wise, but he who keeps company with fools will be broken. As you meet new people, be discerning and seek to build friendships with those who share your faith and values.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up ### in prayer. Lord, we ask that you guide their steps and provide them with opportunities to travel and meet new people according to your will. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
