We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life. It's important to remember that God has a specific plan and purpose for each of us, as outlined in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."
Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned in this request. It is only through Jesus that we are able to go to God the Father. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. So, let's first make sure that you believe in Jesus.
Before we pray let's look at a few other scriptures. In Proverbs 29:18 we read, "Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he who keeps the law is blessed." And in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We also find guidance in James 1:5-6, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and purpose for this dear soul. We ask that You reveal Your vision for their life and grant them the wisdom to understand and follow Your plan. Help them to commit their ways to You, trusting that You will direct their paths.
Lord, we pray for a spirit of discernment and clarity, so that they may know Your will and walk in Your ways. Give them a heart that is teachable and obedient, ready to serve You in whatever capacity You call them to.
If they do not know Jesus please reveal Him to them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God has a unique plan for your life. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He will guide you according to His perfect will. Spend time in His Word, pray continually, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you along the way.
