Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Taeweth, who is seeking your help and guidance. Lord, we lift up Taeweth's struggle with smoking. We ask that you grant them strength and resilience to resist the temptation to go back to this harmful habit. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor and take care of them. We pray that you would fill Taeweth with your peace and grant them the ability to overcome the stress and anger that may be triggering these temptations.
Father, we also ask for your grace and wisdom in Taeweth's interactions with their support workers. Help them to treat others with love and kindness, even in moments of frustration or anger. Your Word teaches us in Ephesians 4:31-32 to put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, and malice, and to be kind and compassionate towards one another. We pray that Taeweth would be able to embody these qualities and reflect the peace and love of Christ in their actions.
Lord, we know that we cannot overcome these challenges on our own, but with you, all things are possible. We ask for your Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen Taeweth, reminding them of their identity as a child of God. Help them to find peace and comfort in your presence, knowing that you are with them every step of the way.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness in answering them. May Taeweth experience your peace, strength, and victory over these struggles. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
