Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s prayer request. Lord, we ask that You would grant ### the strength and determination to resist the temptation of cigarettes. We pray that You would break the chains of addiction and fill ###'s heart with a deep desire to live a healthy and smoke-free life. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor You with our bodies. We ask for Your grace and power to overcome this struggle.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for a closer relationship between ### and You. May ### experience Your presence in a deeper and more intimate way. Help ### to seek You diligently, to spend time in Your Word, and to commune with You in prayer. Draw ### closer to Your heart and reveal Yourself in new and profound ways. Your Word assures us in James 4:8 that when we draw near to You, You will draw near to us.
Furthermore, we lift up ###'s family before You, Lord. We pray for their salvation and that they may come to know You personally. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of Your love and grace. May they experience the transforming power of Your salvation and be reconciled to You. Your Word reminds us in Acts 16:31 that if we believe in the Lord Jesus, we and our households will be saved. We claim this promise for ###'s family and ask for their salvation.
Lastly, we pray for ###, who has submitted this prayer request on behalf of ###. We ask that You would bless ### abundantly and meet ### needs according to Your riches in glory.
