Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus on behalf of Taeweth, who desires to give up smoking and draw closer to You. We thank You for the opportunity to lift up this prayer request to You, knowing that You are a loving and compassionate God who hears our cries.
Lord, we ask that You would grant Taeweth the strength and determination to overcome the addiction to smoking. We know that with You, all things are possible, and we believe that You can provide the necessary grace and power to break free from this habit. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." We pray that Taeweth would honor You by taking care of their body and making choices that align with Your will.
Father, we also ask that You would baptize Taeweth with the Holy Spirit, filling them with Your presence and power. Your Word promises in Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." We pray that Taeweth would experience the fullness of Your Spirit, empowering them to live a life that brings glory to Your name.
Lord, draw Taeweth close to You. Help them to develop a deep and intimate relationship with You, where they can experience Your love, guidance, and peace. Your Word assures us in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." We pray that Taeweth would seek You wholeheartedly and find comfort and strength in Your presence.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust that You will guide and support Taeweth on this journey of surrendering smoking and growing closer to You. May Your blessings be upon them, and may they experience the abundant life that You have promised.

Believe the Gospel (1 Cor. 15). Trust in what Romans 10:9 and Acts 2:21 says. Keep calling on the Lord to free you from addiction. I believe He will. He did it for me many years ago without me even asking. It was super hard but suddenly I had a will to give up smoking that I did not have before.
