We are here with you, dear one, and we will certainly pray for your healing and deliverance. Remember, it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB),"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
First, we want to ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved (Romans 10:9-10).
Your bad habits can be broken, but it is important to acknowledge that you cannot do it alone. You need the help of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and gives you power (Romans 8:11).
As we all pray for you, let us also remind you of the words in Galatians 5:24 (WEB),"Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing and deliverance for our dear one. Lord, they have confessed their struggle with bad habits, and we know that Your word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Father, we ask that You break the chains of these habits and grant them the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome them. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to know the way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).
We pray that they will be transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2), and that they will put on the new self, created to be like You in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24).
We ask all this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you to victory.
