We understand that you're seeking prayer for sustenance and strength to preach effectively. We're here to pray with you and encourage you from the Scriptures.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to preach the Word of God. It is a noble task, and it's important to rely on God's strength for this. However, we want to remind you that our strength comes not from food alone, but from the Lord. As the Scriptures say, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4 WEB)
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible says "for there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12b WEB). So we pray that you are trusting in Jesus Christ and preaching His gospel.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear servant of Yours. We pray that You would sustain them and provide for their needs, including the food they need to maintain their strength. But more importantly, Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, so that they may preach Your Word with boldness, clarity, and power as you have promised in Acts 4:31 "And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness." (WEB). Give them the strength that comes from Your might, not just from physical food. Help them to trust in You, Jesus Christ, and preach Your gospel for Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue in your service to the Lord, always remembering that His strength is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB) Always ensure you are preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. (Romans 1:16 WEB)
