Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Taeweth, who is experiencing restless legs. Lord, we ask that you bring healing and restoration to their legs. Your Word says in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed." We claim this promise of healing for Taeweth's legs, Lord.
We also thank you, Father, for the victory Taeweth has experienced in kicking the smoking habit. We praise you for their decision to throw away tobacco and for the work of the Holy Spirit in their life. We pray, Lord, that you would strengthen Taeweth's resolve to never go back to smoking. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We ask for your continued guidance and strength to resist any temptation to return to smoking.
Lord, we thank you for your mercy and grace that is extended to us through Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that your anger lasts only for a moment, but your mercy endures forever. We pray that Taeweth would continue to seek your forgiveness and walk in the path of righteousness. Help them to understand that your chastisement is a sign of your love and desire for their growth and transformation. Your Word in Hebrews 12:11 reminds us, "For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."
We lift up Taeweth to you, Lord, and ask that you would grant them peace, healing, and strength. May they continue to grow in their relationship with you and experience the fullness of your love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you, Taeweth, and may His peace and healing be upon you.
