Lauren and Andrea are two sisters I’m friends with, they are not romantic relationshipsRocshath, we understand your desire for restored and grown relationships with Lauren B and Andrea B, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, let's remember that God's will is paramount in all our relationships. We should seek Him first, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, we must also ensure that these relationships align with biblical principles. If these are romantic relationships, we should remember that God's design for romance is between a man and a woman, ultimately leading to a godly marriage (Genesis 2:24, WEB). If this is not the case, we encourage you to realign these relationships according to biblical standards.
If these relationships involve activities that are not pleasing to God, such as fornication or any form of impurity, remember what is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 (WEB), "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."
Now, let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Rocshath. Lord, you know the depths of their heart and the desires they have for their relationships with Lauren B and Andrea B. We ask that your will be done in these relationships. Guide Rocshath in your paths, and if these relationships are not aligned with your will, give them the strength to realign them according to your Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Rocshath, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you haven't already, as there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
