Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lederman in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his joints and kidneys. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds," and we stand on this promise for Lederman's complete healing.
Father, we also pray that You surround him with more Christian friends who can uplift and encourage him in his walk with You. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." May he find fellowship and community that strengthens his faith.
Lord, we ask for Your intervention in the weather, that the high winds would cease and bring peace to his environment. We know that even the winds and the waves obey You, as stated in Mark 4:39.
We also lift up his housing situation in Syracuse, NY. Lord, let there be clarity and a favorable response regarding his application. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. We trust that You will make his paths straight.
Father, we pray for Lederman's health journey, that he would lose weight and find strength and discipline in this process. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
We also ask for Your protection on the roads. Lord, we pray that those who are unfit to drive, whether due to strokes, blindness, or seizures, would refrain from driving and find safe alternatives. Psalm 121:7-8 says, "The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."
Lord, we pray for peace and kindness in Lederman's apartment building. May the residents be nice to him, and may those who are mean find new places to live. Matthew 5:9 says, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Let Your peace reign in his home.
Finally, we thank You for the benign biopsy result on his foot. We believe that You are a God of miracles, and we praise You for Your healing power. Psalm 103:2-3 says, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
