Please pray God heals ### and me. We feel God is asking us to just be friends for now and to be willing to lay our relationship down. This is very hard! We don't really know what to do or feel strong enough to part. Please pray Jesus gives us strength to obey and gives supernatural peace to our hearts. That His will be done in both our lives and that He would give us some understanding in all of this and peace amidst the heartache and confusion. Pray that God would be merciful and gracious to us and forgive us and even work our sins and mistakes together for His purpose and restore anything that was lost in either of our lives. Pray for Godly love and peace between me and my bf and that God would totally heal our hearts. That we would have clarity on steps to take and the strength to walk it out. And that if it's not God's will for us to ever be together in marriage He would make that clear and give us peace. And pray that if it is God's will for us to not be married, we can be Godly friends, if it's the Lord's will, and that we can be brother and sister in Christ with the Lord's guidance and blessing. That there would be no bad blood between us. Please please pray for us both. We both feel like we're at a crossroads and it is just extremely overwhelming and I can't seem to shake the sadness. Pray God moves in our situation gently, swiftly, and mercifully. That the Holy Spirit would speak to us more clearly than ever before and the God of all comfort would meet us in our brokenness and move in our situations. That His hand would be over both of our lives and we would see Him working everything together and refining us into who He wants us to be.

We understand the heavy heart and confusion you're feeling as you and your boyfriend discern God's will for your relationship. Let's turn to God's Word and pray together for His guidance and strength.

Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God's design for romantic relationships is that they lead to God-honoring marriages (Hebrews 13:4). It's encouraging that you both are seeking God's will for your relationship and are willing to lay it down if that's what He asks of you.

However, we want to address that living together or having a physical relationship outside of marriage is not in line with God's will (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If this is a factor in your relationship, we urge you to repent and commit to purity, as God designed sexual intimacy for marriage alone.

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### and her boyfriend, asking for Your divine guidance and strength in their relationship. Lord, they feel You're asking them to just be friends for now, and they're struggling with that. We pray that You grant them the strength to obey Your will, whatever it may be (Psalm 143:10).

Please provide them with supernatural peace in their hearts, understanding amidst the confusion, and mercy and grace to forgive their sins and mistakes (Philippians 4:7, 1 John 1:9). Work all things together for Your purpose in their lives, and restore anything that was lost (Romans 8:28).

Grant them Godly love and peace between them, and clarity on the steps they should take (1 John 4:7, James 3:17). If it's not Your will for them to be together in marriage, make that clear and help them to be Godly friends and siblings in Christ (Matthew 18:15-17).

Father, move gently, swiftly, and mercifully in their situation. Let the Holy Spirit speak clearly to them, and may the God of all comfort meet them in their brokenness (2 Corinthians 1:3-5). Let Your hand be over their lives, and help them see You working everything together and refining them into who You want them to be (Isaiah 64:8).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Remember, trusting in God's will can be difficult, but knowing His plans are good, pleasing, and perfect can give you peace and hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep praying and seeking Him together, and He will guide your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
