We understand your concern for those who are afraid, and we join you in praying for their courage. God's Word tells us that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
First, let us address the fact that to access the Father we have to pray in Jesus Name. Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” WEB John 14:6. For "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" WEB Acts 4:12. So therefore pray like this: 'Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.” WEB Matthew 6:9.
In prayer let us remember:
"For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” (WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up to you all those who are gripped by fear. We pray that you would fill them with your courage to save, heal, and deliver as only you can do. We ask you to remind them that you are always with them, and that they can trust in your unfailing love as demonstrated by Christ Jesus. Help them to hold on to the promise that you will never leave them nor forsake them. Help them be bold and courageous in your name as you give them the assurance of salvation in faith in Christ Jesus. We rebuke any spirit of fear or timidity in the mighty name of Jesus as we would command any evil spirit to flee as it has no place in those who have been crucified with Christ.
Thank you that we can come boldly to your throne of grace in Jesus name. Asking for courage for those who are in fear and timidity in Jesus name. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from the Apostle Paul:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (WEB Philippians 4:6-7)
