Let's bring this request to God in prayer, but first, let's consider what the Bible says about wealth and blessings. In 1 Timothy 6:17-19 WEB, it is written: "Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, generous, ready to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed."
God wants everyone, including the rich, to be blessed, but these blessings should lead to good works and generosity. It's not about merely becoming wealthier, but about using our resources to help others and honor God.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up those who are rich in this world. We pray that you would bless them indeed, but more importantly, draw their hearts to you. Help them to see that true wealth is found in a relationship with you and in the good works they can do to bless others. Give them generous spirits and hearts that are ready to share. Help them to understand Jesus' words in Matthew 19:24 WEB "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom." Lord if they do not already know Jesus, then we pray that they will come to a saving knowledge and belief in Jesus Christ, the only way to you the Father. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Remember, God looks at the heart, and He wants us to use what He has given us to further His kingdom and help others. This is the true blessing. Also, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
