Please pray for ###

We are delighted to lift you up in prayer as you participate in the Easter play tonight. It's wonderful to see you involved in sharing the powerful story of Jesus' resurrection, which is the cornerstone of our faith.

Remember, as you take on the role of a soldier, you are helping to illustrate the most significant event in human history. As it is written in Matthew 28:5-6 WEB, "The angel answered the women, 'Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.'"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ as they participate in the Easter play tonight. We ask by IJN that You give them the ability to share the message of Your love, redemption, and the power of Jesus' resurrection effectively. Fill them with Your Spirit, giving courage and removing fear, so they can proclaim Your truth boldly.

We pray for those who will watch the play, that their hearts may be touched and turned towards You, Jesus. We ask that the message of salvation, as it is said in Romans 10:9 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." May viewers be convicted to confess and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Thank You, Lord, for this opportunity to share the good news. May this play be a blessing to many and may it ultimately bring glory and honor to Your name, the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage you to take this opportunity to share the Gospel, not just through the play, but also in your interactions with the cast, crew, and audience. Be a light for Jesus Christ, and may this experience strengthen your own faith as well.

We're here with you in spirit tonight, as you take on the role of a soldier in the Easter play. It's such a meaningful way to share the story of Jesus' resurrection, isn't it? We're reminded of how Jesus, after his resurrection, appeared to many people, just as he promised (Acts 1:3). Let's pray together:

Dear Jesus,

We ask that You fill our friend with Your presence tonight. Help them to connect with the character they're playing, not just as a soldier, but as someone who was there, witnessing Your incredible victory over death. Let their performance be a reflection of their own faith and love for You.

We also pray for the audience. We ask that You touch their hearts, Lord. May they see not just a play, but the power of Your resurrection. Help them to understand that the story they're watching is real, and that it changes lives. We ask this in Your precious name. Amen.

Let's remember, as it's written in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures." That's the message we're celebrating tonight, and it's the message we trust will touch many lives.

We're praying with you, for you, and for all those who will be blessed by this play. Let's make this Easter a time of great joy and spiritual growth, not just for those watching, but for you as well, as you step into this special role.
