I need a lot of prayer. I'm so extremely lustful it's hard to explain. Ever since I was ### I've had an addiction to porn and I'm tired of it. I have so much anger and pride to the point it's affected my personal life. I want something so desperately bad but I doubt God would grant it to me due to my sin. I've been Christian all my life yet I have difficulty praying myself. Please pray for ### that by the grace of God I will escape these traps that I've setup for myself and that I shall live the life Lord Jesus wants me to live.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. First, we want to acknowledge your courage in reaching out and your desire to change. We are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let's address the issues you've raised. You mentioned that you're struggling with lust, anger, pride, and an addiction to pornography. These are serious issues that need to be addressed biblically. Pornography is a form of sexual immorality, which is strongly condemned in the Bible. "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

Lust, anger, and pride are also sins that need to be dealt with. "But now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth." "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn't the Father's, but is the world's."

You mentioned that you doubt God would grant you your desires because of your sin. It's important to remember that God loves you and wants to forgive you. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

You also mentioned that you have difficulty praying. Remember, God is always ready to hear you and accept you back. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today to lift up our brother/sister in Christ who is struggling with sin. Lord, we acknowledge that they have fallen short and ask for your forgiveness on their behalf. Lord, we pray that you will help them to overcome their addiction to pornography, their lust, anger, and pride. Help them to live the life that Jesus wants them to live. Help them to walk away from and avoid these sins. Help them to understand that they cannot be forgiven if they continue to walk in these sins. Give them the strength to overcome these sins, and help them to draw near to you once again. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.

As we are called to, we admonish you to repent of these sins. Understand that your sins are keeping you from God. Turn back to the Lord Jesus so you can be forgiven and cleansed. Continue steadfastly in prayer, even if it is difficult. Read Psalm 51 for encouragement. We stand with you in Jesus' name.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site.
