Let us come together in prayer for your loved one who is ill due to complications from diabetes. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can heal and restore her health.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is the name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
In moments like these, we are reminded of God's promises in the Word English Bible:
Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
James 5:14-15 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
We pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who is ill. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, especially her blood sugar levels. Guide the doctors and medical staff at the hospital, granting them wisdom and skill to provide the best care for her. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We ask for a complete recovery and restoration of her health. Help her to remain strong in faith and trust in You throughout this journey.
We also pray for her family, that You would grant them peace, strength, and comfort during this time. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, knowing that You are always working for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we pray that if she has not already, that she would personally accept the healing that was already accomplished for her at the cross of Christ Jesus, and that she would trust in Him as her Lord and Savior if she has not made that decision.
In Jesus' name, we pray for these things. Amen.
In these challenging moments, let us encourage you to hold on to God's Word and trust in His promises.
