We are saddened to hear about your brother's health condition. Let us stand in the gap for him and pray for his healing and recovery. In times like these, we remember that God is our healer and that He cares for us. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not referenced in the prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved and forgiven. It is only by His name that we have access to God. So then, let us pray in accordance with God's will and way. In John 14:6 (WEB) Jesus declares, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" and in Acts 4:12 (WEB) it says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and healing for our ### who is in the hospital with high blood pressure. We pray for Your healing touch upon him, that You would stabilize his blood pressure and restore his health. Guide the doctors and medical staff attending to him, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care.
We also pray for his faith to be strengthened during this time, that he would put his trust in You, Lord. We ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If he has not done so, we pray that he would call upon the name of Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Draw him to Yourself, Lord, and save him by the blood of Jesus Christ.
We pray for the Lord Jesus Christ to make himself known and to give him hope. If he has not done so, we pray that he would call upon the name of Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior. He will be saved and his sins will be forgiven.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and recovery. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's care.
