We are truly sorry to hear about the depression you're experiencing due to your career setbacks and broken engagement. Firstly, we want to remind you that your value is not defined by your career or relationship status, but by who you are in Christ Jesus.
If the engagement was with a non-believer then the engagement needed to end. The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked. Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. (Titus 3:10)
God has a plan and purpose for you, and He cares about every detail of your life. (First Peter 5:7

"Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that you can be saved and healed. We pray that you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior. If not, we encourage you to do so. Make sure to be praying in Jesus' name. This is the only way to God the Father. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. (Acts 4:12) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In regards to your career, trust that God can turn situations around for your good and His glory. (Romans 8:28

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Concerning the broken engagement, we pray that God will heal your heart and guide you to the spouse He has prepared for you. (Psalm 147:3) "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Please know that God is close to the brokenhearted and that He can restore your joy and hope. (Psalm 34:18) "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon their heart and mind. Comfort them in their depression, and remind them of their true worth and identity in Christ Jesus.
Guide them through this challenging season, and restore their career and relationships according to Your will. Help them be to find a new Christian spouse if appropriate. Help them to be strong in their faith and to live a holy life. Lord, we trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. We know that You can turn even the most painful experiences into testimonies of Your grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing, restoration, and provision. Give them strength to endure and overcome. Please be with them and help them.
Amen.
Be strong and courageous. Trust in God. He will help you and heal you. If you need further help or just someone to talk to, please reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or Christian counselor. God bless you.
