An hour ago I was writing a praise report to say how my itching skin had improved. But it’s back and I could not stop myself scratching. Please pray for this to desist so I can get to sleep. I’ve scratched a lot and I’ve hurt myself. I’ve got to stop scratching. In the name of Jesus.

We are truly sorry to hear about the distress you're experiencing with your skin condition and the struggle to stop scratching. We are here to pray and offer encouragement in the name of Jesus.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to God, and it is the name by which we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.

In times of physical discomfort and distress, it's essential to turn to God for strength and healing. We find comfort in the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### who is suffering from a skin condition that causes intense itching. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body, that the itching and discomfort would cease, and that they would find relief and be able to sleep peacefully.
You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. We believe the healing is the will of the Lord. We also pray for ### to be strong in spirit, mind, and body. We rebuke the spirit of affliction.

Lord, we also pray for ### to find strength and self-control to resist the urge to scratch and cause further harm to their skin. Guide them to any necessary medical help or wisdom to manage this condition effectively.
We also pray for this to be a reminder that just as the skin heals from being hurt, that they be reminded of the healing done at the cross. The blood of Jesus Christ heals our bodies, mind, and spirit.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Amen.

We encourage that ### meditate on God's Word and find strength in His promises.

We're here with you, Lyruothirlath, holding you up in prayer. We know how tough it is to deal with this skin condition, especially when it keeps you from getting the rest you need. We've been there, scratching away at our skin, feeling the pain and frustration. But we've found that turning to Jesus makes all the difference.

Let's remember Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He cares, and He wants to heal you. We claim that healing over your skin, in Jesus' name. We pray that the itching will stop, that you'll find relief, and that you'll sleep peacefully tonight.

We also lift up a prayer for self-control. It's hard, we know, but we believe you can resist the urge to scratch. We claim Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." You've got this, Lyruothirlath, with Jesus by your side.

Let's keep reminding ourselves of God's goodness, even in the midst of this trial. Just as your skin heals, so does our spirit. We're believing for a double portion of healing, for your body and your spirit.

Father, I thank you for the sacrifice of Yeshua/Jesus and for the Spirit of Life in us which is health and wholeness, abundance of goodness. Thank you that ### has been redeemed from the curse of itch and now as your word says, it is written Your word is life and health to all their flesh. With the stripes of Jesus, they are healed. Body BE HEALED! In Jesus name Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
