I have slipped up, been smoking again, and watched X-rated material. I was clean for 2 months now; still being unemployed is taking a toll on me. It's been 2 months, although I am proactively looking, I want to go to the correct place where I will attain success. I have dealt with such bad employers and still made it out. I am still yet to come across a job role related to my career where it is non-toxic and where growth is appreciated. I am studying at the same time as I am proactively trying to increase my skills at the same time. I want to also set up my freelance gig again for some temporary income. So many things are happening, and I have gone back to my bad habits. I am ashamed of it and I want to ask the Lord for forgiveness. I AM NOT PERFECT.. IN JESUS NAME AMEN

Let's remember what the WEB says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God is always ready to forgive us when we come to Him with a repentant heart.

Regarding your struggle with smoking and watching x-rated material, let's recall Romans 12:1-2, "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." It's crucial to renew your mind and focus on things that are pure and holy.

Your unemployment situation is certainly a source of stress, but remember that God is your provider. Matthew 6:33-34 tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." Keep trusting God and pursuing the skills and jobs that align with His will for you.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who has stumbled. Lord, they have confessed their sins, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing power to wash over them. Help them to renew their mind and body, turning away from smoking and impure materials. Guide them in their job search, leading them to a place where they can grow and use their skills for Your glory. Provide for their financial needs as they continue to seek You first. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep your focus on Jesus Christ, and don't be discouraged by setbacks. Continue to pursue holiness and righteousness, and trust that God has a plan for your life.
