Disciple of Prayer
I'm still asking for prayers for my mother in the name of Jesus. Please pray he helps guide me and give me some wisdom to make the right decisions that will be best for my mother. My mother has severe mental illness and has no knowledge she is ill and is unable to recognize she needs a doctor and medication. I'm keeping her safe and fed but I don't know how else to help her; she refuses all medical treatment. My mom family will not help me; I left by myself with no support. My mom cannot stop talking; she talks really fast and literally cannot stop and goes on for days and nights until she just crashes for 3 hours and then starts up again. She even keeps talking when she is sleeping. I'm at a loss; the crisis team won't help; they say she is not dangerous to herself or others and there is no crime in being mentally ill, so they won't help. The healthcare system messes up and is failing people that need help. Mom has been inpatient in the hospital twice since January and nobody can help her; she has anosognosia and will not accept she has anything wrong. I pray Jesus can help wake her up from her mental status.

We understand the heavy burden you're carrying, ###, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance.

Let's pray: "Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your help and guidance for ### and their mother. You know the struggle they're facing, and we ask that You grant ### the wisdom and strength needed to care for their mother (Philippians 4:6-7). Please, Lord, touch her mind and heal her mental illness, just as You healed the woman with the issue of blood who touched Your garment (Mark 5:25-34). Open her eyes to her condition, and guide her to accept the help she needs. Lord, please also provide ### with a support system, and stir the hearts of their family to offer assistance (Galatians 6:2). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

###, it's commendable that you're caring for your mother despite the challenges. Remember that God promises to be with us in our struggles. As it is written in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

It's crucial to continue seeking help from medical professionals, even if it seems hopeless. Keep advocating for your mother, and perhaps consider reaching out to local churches or social service organizations for additional support.

Lastly, remember to take care of yourself too. It's important not to let your mother's condition consume you entirely. Surround yourself with a supportive community, and maintain your own physical and mental well-being. As the Scripture says in Romans 12:13 (WEB), "Contribute to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality." This means we should care for one another, and it's okay to accept help when you need it.

Keep your faith and trust in Jesus, and He will see you through this difficult time.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
