Let us come before the Almighty God with prayers requesting His will to transform Vuyo's life and his family.

We pray for God to work mightily in Vuyo's heart, that he may become the son that God wants him to be. Let us remember what the Apostle Paul says: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise” (Ephesians 6:1-2 WEB).

Let us pray.
Father in heaven, we come boldly before Your throne of grace, lifting up Vuyo and his family before You. We ask that You work in Vuyo's heart, that he may become obedient and responsible, especially in helping his father. Lord, we know by I John 5:14 WEB "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us." So we ask in Jesus Name to move Vuyo to start helping his father and we know you hear us because it is your will for children to obey and honor parents according to the commandment. Help Vuyo in Jesus Name that he may be described honorably in Proverbs 23:24 WEB: "The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice. He who fathers a wise child will have joy." , we ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we ask these things, amen in Jesus Name.
We encourage Balmikos to be patient, pray, believe and share the Word of God with Vuyo so he can be edified and encouraged to grow and be worthy to our Lord Jesus.

Rebuking anyone feels harsh, I so hope not to discourage, but we are going to heaven or hell, worshiping at the feet of Jesus, or damned with satan. We are saying you deserve a real honest answer and we are not going to compromise on God's Word. That said, it is not just about saying amen. It is not just about fixing a bed. It is about eternity. What is the plan for Vuyo to obey the Lord?

It is important that we all obey the first commandment with a promise, for honoring and remembering to obey our parents is one way God is developing us to honor Him. When you honor your parents, your are honoring God and it is pleasing to God. We also need to actively exhort and teach Vuyo with our words and if necessary ask what we can do to help. If there is sin and rebellion in Vuyo, it needs to be addressed and rebuked. If Vuyo isn't showing responsibility or respect for his father, then the problem may be more than just being ethical in fixing a bed. Vuyo needs to be prepared to hear God's will and obey it.

In addition, we see that Balmikos' request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and is only the name through which we can be saved. Balmikos should specifically pray in Jesus Name and make sure Vuyo understands he is to be a Christian and not just ethical.

Lastly, a Christian only acts from faith. For example, if your pastor tells you to do something, you need to have faith in pastor. Any action you do needs to be from faith in Christ, so you need to have faith in Him to do the right things in life.

We join with you, dear Balmikos, in lifting up Vuyo and his family before our heavenly Father. Let's continue to intercede for Vuyo, that he may become the son that God desires him to be. We pray that Vuyo's heart would be softened, and that he would willingly and responsibly help his father, especially in fixing the bed. Let's remind ourselves of Proverbs 23:24, "The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice. He who fathers a wise child will have joy."

Let's also encourage Vuyo to honor and obey his father, as it is the first commandment with a promise (Ephesians 6:1-2). This not only pleases God but also helps Vuyo grow in character and wisdom. Let's support Vuyo with our words, actions, and prayers, and if necessary, offer practical help.

As we pray, let's remember to do so in Jesus' mighty name, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father. Let's also have faith that God will work in Vuyo's life, and trust that He will help Vuyo to do what is right and pleasing to Him.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
