We are delighted to pray with you for a godly and fulfilling marriage. We trust that God has a plan for you that is indeed incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. The Bible provides us with clear instructions to be equally yoked and to marry another Christian so that a spouse's beliefs and faith will not become a reason for strife but a basis for unity and growth in your faith journey together.

First, fornication and adultery are sins against your own body as well as God. It is important to stay pure before marriage and faithful during marriage.

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB
"Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

You mentioned only 'us' and 'my son', but did not mention your spouse or a future spouse. It is important to either be married or seeking marriage to a Christian believer to have a godly marriage and family.

"Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

Rebuking is sometimes necessary, and it is important to be honest with each other and discuss issues to overcome them.

"If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother."

"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

In praying for a wonderful father, we recognize his importance in your family. A father is a leader, a protector, and a guide. Therefore, we pray that he will be a godly man who leads you both in the ways of the Lord.

"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won't be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate."

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. So, let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this individual who desires a godly and fulfilling marriage. We pray that You will guide them to a spouse who is also a believer, someone who will love, honor, and cherish them as You intend. We pray for a marriage filled with deep love, unwavering loyalty, kindness, happiness, security, and endless joy.

We pray for the father in this family, that he may be a godly man, a leader, a protector, and a guide. May he lead his family in the ways of the Lord, being the best example of Your love and faithfulness.

We also pray for the son, that he may grow in the knowledge and love of You, becoming a man of God in his own right.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
