We join with you, Slethmor, in lifting these two precious children up to our Heavenly Father.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of prayer in Jesus' name, as we are told in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine protection and grace for these two children. As they embark on this long flight in August, we ask that You guard them and their family from all harm. Be their shield and fortress, as You promise in Psalm 91:11 (WEB), "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
Lord, we also pray for their health—that You would keep them from all sickness and disease. May they be strong and well, enjoying the journey You have set before them. We ask that You fill their hearts with happiness and peace, casting out all fear and anxiety, as Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Finally, we pray for their safe stay, that wherever they go, they would be kept secure and free from danger. May their trip be a time of joy and blessing, and may they return home safely, with hearts full of gratitude and praise.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Slethmor, to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears our prayers and cares for these children even more than we do. As we are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), let us cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us.
