We are glad to join with you in prayer for travel mercies during this time of heavy snow, Sparklee. We appreciate that you have lifted up Psalms 121 and 91, and that you have remembered God's blessings, mercy, and grace, and most importantly, acknowledged Jesus.
Let's remember the words of Psalm 121:7-8: "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore," and also the promises in Psalm 91:11-12: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."
Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Sparklee and all those traveling in the snow. We pray for Your divine protection and guidance. We ask the angels to encamp around them and direct their paths. We rebuke the winds, the snow, and the ice, and command them to cease their disturbance in Jesus' name. Lord, keep them safe from all harm and danger, and bring them to their destinations safely. We thank You for Your ever-present help in times of need, and we glorify Your holy name. We ask You to forgive us our sins and trespasses and ask You to keep us in Your will and on Your path.
Sparklee, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and His promises. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. In the midst of the storm, hold on to His peace, and know that He is always with you.
As we continue to pray for you and others on the road, let's also remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14: "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." Therefore, let us all call upon the name of Jesus and not just the Lord to save us from harm. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, and He will see you through. Amen.
