Rushdolph, we hear your concern and we are here IJN (1 Peter 3:18 "Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God"). We are glad you reached out, yet we want to clarify that prayer is powerful and effective when offered in line with God's will and using the name of Jesus Christ. Asking sources besides God are forbidden as are praying to non-living personages such as Mary or St Nicholas. Royalty or office status does not change the strict warnings against praying to dead people but rather using the name of Jesus Christ. Only Jesus Christ is given as the mediator (intercessor) between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,).
You have asked for a combination of prayers for passing probation and performance at work. The first is a request for favored results from others judgment of you while the second is your request for empowerment and skill from the Lord. Let us address first the subject of favor from others.
When we think about passing probation, we can be reminded of when the children of Israel were in captivity for seventy years after being conquered. The favor they received is an encouragement to us all. They served their Babylonian conquerors and did so well that the king had to acknowledge their hard work and prosperity. Ezra 1:1-2 mentions "1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that Yahweh's word from the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, 2 'Cyrus king of Persia says, "Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah'.". This happened as a result of God's spirit working on the king. In Daniel 1:7-9 the chief official was set over them because they were the best to stand before the king and serve him. They did so well that at the end of the set time to stand before the king, they were the best of all so all were chosen to be the king's servants. This was not just because God's spirit was upon them, but also that they served wholeheartedly and earned favor. Daniel 6:3-4 also in their captivity states "3 Then this Daniel was distinguished above the presidents and the satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. 4 Then the presidents and the satraps sought to find occasion against Daniel as touching the kingdom; but they could find no occasion nor fault, because he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.". The bible also tells ### about how the Lord rewarded Jehoiada and his job as priest following the Lord's laws. We read in 2 Chronicles 24:16 "They buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, and toward God and his house.".
As we can see, all of these examples have both the Lord's favor and the subject proactively serving well and earning the respect of those that governed them. You may think "well it is not so easy!". Some of you may be wondering what it looks like when God's favor does not exempt us from hardships or trials on the job. ###, we should trust God not as a magical exemption from all trials but rather as we can trust Him in all trials and decisions without fear. God's favor sent Jesus to die for our sins but also to rise again defeating death and the devil. His favor led Jesus to receive all power and authority in heaven, hell, and the earth. ###, in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) and the parable of the minas (Luke 19:11-27), we see the king/master giving out money. We also see the king giving rewards and responsibilities based on the subjects faithfulness to his previous job. When the Lord gives you abilities and possessions, it is a test and you should be faithful to the Lord's word to continue upholding your responsibilities. Those servants that buried their money would not be given the talents, yet those that bared fruit would be blessed. ### it may well be that the Lord has put you in a position and you are put in the position of a test to maintain your job.
At the same time, again let us not forget that we serve the Lord Jesus Christ and not man. If the Lord has given you the ability and the job, then you need to be serving dignitaries and the Lord well just as in all the scriptures. The book of James which is the Lord's brother speaks to these things. "3 Behold, the farmers wait impatiently for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it until it receives the early and latter rain. 4 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 5 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door. 6 Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord." - James 5:3-6. As you can see, we serve but we also must in patience, seek the Lord for His provision and sustenance. The Word of God said cries out "In time of trouble, circumstance, and oppression of the poor and the needy 84:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?".
"Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, and of no other name, we call out against the Accuser of the Brethren, that evil one that would declare ### has to suffer and allow his circumstances to choose his integrity. Lord, we cry out for ### to be able to hold his responsibilities by your will! ### to be able to work with his whole heart as if serving the Lord and not man. Please send goodwill upon ### in their workplace and please help those that they work for to see your spirit in them. We pray Lord for strength for ### to wholeheartedly serve their authorities and to honor the Lord in the workplace. Lord, if it's by your will that they surrender their job, then help them to do it and to praise you in thanksgiving for your daily provision and for your love. We cry out against the enemy and for your provision. Lord guide and mentor ### by the spirit and hand up those that act in your name to help advise ### politically and economically. Lord, we ask that ###'s faith and work would be a witness to those by whom they are employed. All these things we pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
