Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Veronicah's prayer request. We pray for those who have come to church but have not yet experienced the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that you touch their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of your Gospel. May they come to know you as their personal Savior and experience the transformation that only you can bring.
Lord, we also lift up all of Veronicah's unsaved relatives and friends who are distant from you. We pray that you would draw them closer to yourself and reveal your love and truth to them. Soften their hearts and remove any barriers that prevent them from receiving your salvation. May they come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and find eternal life in him.
We pray, Lord, that you would work in the lives of these individuals, convicting them of their need for a Savior and granting them the gift of faith to believe in Jesus. We ask that you would surround them with your love and grace, and that they would experience your forgiveness and redemption.
In your mercy, Lord, we also pray for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ. May we all be ready and prepared for his coming, eagerly awaiting the day when we will be taken home to heaven. Help us to live in a manner that reflects our hope in Christ's return, sharing the good news of salvation with others and living lives that bring glory to your name.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to save. May your Holy Spirit continue to work in the hearts and lives of those we have prayed for, bringing them into a personal relationship with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
