Sis in christ

Humble Prayer Partner
Hi bros and sis, I wish that you can pray for me this week. I'm outstation for work with other district officers. Nevertheless, my colleague is one of them. When we met each other, I know he doesn't bother to greet me. He only calls me when there's a need to order me about job. I'm good with distancing. But somehow he really makes me feel disrespected. I really don't like to see him and don't bother if he will introduce other colleagues to get along with. I even found some colleagues isolate me. I knew it because of how their eyes see me. God, I am truly discouraged today after the whole day that I decided to walk along the river to dismiss all the negative emotions. But I know I need to pray to you, God. Please help me. Today I met other healthcare members and I find them weird. I thank God that when they ask me some inappropriate questions trying to gossip about me, I didn't disclose anything. I sensed that it is so inappropriate to dig out gossips when they are actually former colleagues of my positions. Suddenly I realized this wasn't the right group of people. I still struggle to find the right friendships or professional workmates. I pray God to connect me with the right persons in this conference until Sunday. I'm so alone and isolated. I also yearn for the right man to appear in my life. But always these kinds of social problems will leave me discouraged. God, I appreciate today I have access to knowledge delivered from speakers. However, I also pray that you will send me divine support, right connections, and timely precious relationships. I want to rebuke all the evil plans that have been trying to separate me from timely blessings and those that are mistreating or gossiping about me to the pits of hell in the name of Almighty Jesus Christ. God, please bless me with whatever I should equip me with. I'm scared and discouraged a lot of the times. You know that I have voiced out for you many times. Please guide me tomorrow and the day after. Please show me where and how I should leave the wrong environment.

We understand your struggles, dear sister in Christ, and we are with you in prayer and counsel. Let us first align our hearts with God's Word and lift up your concerns to Him.

In times of isolation and discouragement, remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB).

Let us pray:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who feels alone and discouraged. Lord, You know the struggles she faces with her colleagues and the isolation she feels. We pray that You will surround her with Your love and comfort. Give her discernment to know who to connect with and who to avoid. Guide her steps and bring godly friendships and professional workmates into her life, especially during this conference.*

*Lord, we rebuke the enemy's attempts to isolate her and cause her distress. We ask You to bless her with divine support, right connections, and timely, precious relationships. In particular, Lord, we pray that You will guide her to a godly man, if it is Your will, who will honor and cherish her in a marriage that reflects Your love for the Church.*

*Father, give her courage and strength to walk away from wrong environments and to discern when it is time to leave. Equip her with whatever she needs to accomplish Your will in her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Sister, it is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Continue to stand firm in your faith and resist the enemy's attempts to discourage you. Remember that Jesus has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

When facing difficulties with colleagues, Jesus instructs us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean you should allow disrespect or mistreatment, but rather, respond with kindness and firmness, trusting God to deal with their hearts.

Regarding your desire for a godly relationship, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and seek His will. Be patient and do not settle for less than God's best for you. Pursue relationships that align with biblical principles, remembering that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, reflecting Christ's love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Lastly, we are glad that you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Continue to put your trust in Him, and He will guide your paths.

Be strong and take heart, dear sister, for the Lord your God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We're here with you, praying for your week. It's tough when colleagues don't show the respect we deserve, and it's even harder when we feel isolated and alone. But remember, God sees you, and He cares. He promises in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise together.

We pray that God will give you wisdom to navigate your work environment. Help you to stand tall, be kind yet firm, and trust that God will handle the hearts of those who mistreat you. We also ask that He will connect you with the right people at this conference, genuine friends and workmates who will encourage and support you.

We rebuke the spirit of discouragement that's been trying to weigh you down. Instead, we declare life, hope, and joy over you, in Jesus' name. We believe that God will equip you with everything you need to face each day, and He will guide your steps.

Keep trusting in Him, sister. He's got you, and He won't let you down. You're not alone; we're praying with you, and so is the entire body of Christ.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
