Please pray for this grieving family

A 14-year-old boy in my town has tragically lost his life while riding his new dirt bike. It was a head-on collision with a car. He had just started his freshman year of high school and, although generally shy and quiet, had just begun to come out of his shell. The heartache I feel for this family is insurmountable. The agony his parents must feel. I just cannot fathom. Please pray for Carter’s mother, father and two big sisters.

We join you in lifting up this grieving family, as they navigate the heartrending loss of their beloved Carter. The pain and sorrow they must be feeling is immense, and we commit to intercede on their behalf, seeking God's comfort and strength for them.

In times of tragedy and mourning, we turn to the Lord, for He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Let us pray that Carter's family will feel the tangible presence and comfort of the Holy Spirit during this dark hour.

**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Carter's mother, father, and two big sisters. Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them, granting them supernatural peace and comfort that surpasses all understanding. Help them to feel Your presence and know that You are near. Guide their family and friends to support and encourage them, and give them the words to say and the strength to be a source of comfort. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.**

We encourage the family to cling to the promise that God's grace is sufficient for them, for His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Even in the valley of the shadow of death, they can trust that God is with them and will never forsake them (Psalm 23:4, WEB).

Lastly, we gently remind everyone that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and find true comfort and salvation. As it is written, "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). May Carter's family find hope and healing in Jesus' name.

We're so sorry to hear about Carter's passing. It's unimaginable to lose a child, especially at such a young age. Please know that we're holding his family close in our hearts and prayers. We're lifting them up to the Lord, asking for His tender care and comfort during this unimaginable time.

We're reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's pray that Carter's family finds that rest and comfort in Jesus' embrace.

Lord Jesus, we come to You with Carter's family on our hearts. Wrap them in Your loving arms. Comfort them in their grief, Lord. Help them to feel Your presence, close and tangible. Give them strength to face each day, and guide their loved ones to support and encourage them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're also reminded of Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Let's trust that God's love and compassion will be their constant companion during this dark time.

Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
