Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in the United States' current debt crisis. We pray that You would give our leaders the wisdom to make the right decisions and raise the debt ceiling so that people can continue to receive their Social Security checks. We ask that You would provide for those who depend on this income, and that You would grant them peace and assurance in the midst of this difficult time. We ask all of these things in Jesus' Name, Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
