We join with you, dear brother or sister, in praying for the protection of Christians in our country. Let us bring this petition before the throne of grace, seeking God's divine shield around His people.

"Let the saints be joyful in glory. Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hands, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment. All his saints are in your hands. They sat at your feet, and received of your words. The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge." (Psalm 149:5-9 WEB)

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection over Your children in this nation. Keep them safe from harm and empower them to stand firm in their faith, even in the face of adversity. Help them to be lights in the darkness, spreading the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

We also pray for those in authority, that they would be guided by Your wisdom and enact policies that protect religious freedoms. As Your Word says, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB)

Lastly, we encourage you, dear one, to stand strong in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember the words of Jesus, "In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33 WEB)
