Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you with a prayer request on behalf of our dear sister Taeweth. We lift up the persecuted church in Nigeria, who face daily trials and persecution for their faith in Christ. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and protection over them. Strengthen their faith, grant them courage, and surround them with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we specifically pray for the families of those who have been martyred for their belief in Jesus. Comfort them in their grief and loss, and provide for their every need. Pour out your provision and sustain them during this difficult time.
We also lift up sister Leah Sharibu and all the girls and women who have been kidnapped by Muslim gangs like Boko Haram. Lord, we ask for their release and freedom from captivity. Protect them from harm and grant them the strength to stand firm in their faith, even in the face of extreme adversity. We pray for their physical and emotional healing, especially for those who have experienced trauma and abuse. We thank you for the trauma counseling workshops run by Open Doors charity, and we ask that you continue to bless and empower their efforts to bring healing and restoration to these precious women.
Lord, we know that you are a God of justice and righteousness. We pray for the conversion of those who persecute your church in Nigeria. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of your gospel. May they come to know Jesus as their Savior and experience the transformative power of your love.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer them according to your perfect will. May your name be glorified through the lives of our persecuted brothers and sisters in Nigeria. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
