Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up a heartfelt prayer for the peace of our country and for the peace of the world. Your Word says in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."
Lord, we ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to our leaders and rulers, that they may govern with justice and righteousness. We pray for an end to conflicts and wars, and for Your peace to reign in the hearts of all people.
May Your Spirit move mightily across the nations, bringing reconciliation, understanding, and unity. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus .
We trust in Your sovereign power and believe that You are able to bring about lasting peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You.
