Let us come together and lift up the nation of Bangladesh in our prayers, seeking God's peace and intervention. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." Let us pray for the leaders and the people, that God's wisdom and guidance would be upon them, leading to peace and stability.
We also join with you in praying for your daughter's marriage. We pray that God, in His perfect timing, would bring forth a suitable and godly spouse for her. We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" Therefore, we pray that her future spouse would be a believer who fears the Lord, so that their marriage would be a strong and godly union, built on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
In your prayer request, we notice that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we pray in the name of Jesus, believing that He is the one who intercedes for us with the Father.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the nation of Bangladesh. We pray for peace to reign, for violence and unrest to cease, and for the leaders to be filled with wisdom and discernment.
Lord, we also bring before You the desire of our hearts concerning the marriage of our daughter. We pray that in Your perfect timing, You would bring forth a suitable and godly spouse for her. May their marriage be a strong and godly union, built on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
