Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our anonymous friend. We ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in the legal proceedings regarding the Seventh-day Adventist Church's suit seeking to declare Saturday as a sacred day in Nigeria, the U.S., and throughout the world by 2024.
Lord, we acknowledge that You are the ultimate Judge, and we pray that Your will be done in this matter. We ask for wisdom and favor for the Nigerian Courts as they make their ruling on March 20. May they consider the importance of religious freedom and the sincere beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
We pray for a just and fair decision that aligns with Your perfect will. If it is Your desire, Lord, may Saturday be recognized as a sacred day for the Seventh-day Adventist Church, allowing them to worship and observe their faith without hindrance or discrimination.
We also pray for a miraculous outcome, knowing that nothing is impossible for You. We trust in Your sovereignty and ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. May Your glory be revealed through this legal process, and may it bring about positive change for the Seventh-day Adventist Church and believers worldwide.
In the midst of this prayer, we also lift up our hearts in agreement with the Apostle Paul's exhortation in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, praying for our country and its leaders. We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to those in authority, that they may govern according to Your principles and uphold religious freedom for all.
Lastly, we pray for unity and strength within the Church. May believers stand firm in their faith, being salt and light in the world. Help us to support one another, to pray for one another, and to be faithful witnesses of Your love and truth.
We offer this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
