Beloved of All
Dear Jesus in heaven,
We came across a beautiful Labrador in the shelter. For some reason, we were called to this dog; we weren’t even looking for another dog after losing our beloved doggy to a sudden illness last year. We have tried to search for a rescue organization that could pull the Labrador “###” out of the shelter and into foster care. However, they are all full and at capacity due to so many people surrendering their dogs to the shelter, which is so disheartening. We really want to help this dog. The only thing left is for us to pull him out of the shelter because the manager has only approved a rescue organization or my husband and I to pull him due to us having experience with his particular type of Labrador and he will also need a full veterinarian exam. We have met him two days in a row and brought him some toys and treats and a blanket of his own and he is the most precious, beautiful boy; however, health-wise and unforeseen home expenses, the timing couldn’t be worse. If this was a few months down the road, it may be OK, but the dog needs to be rescued asap. We can provide a perfect home that he needs, but the reality is our health isn’t good right now.
My husband may need surgery on his neck at the end of the month.
Dear Father, they have extended ### time in the shelter, but he needs a rescue organization to come forward and pull him out of the shelter into foster care. We have contacted numerous organizations and are hoping and praying one of them will be there for ###. Thank you so much in advance for everything you do for us. It has also been a difficult decision as we are still so heartbroken over the loss of our doggy that passed away last year, but we feel that we were led to this dog for a reason. And although we cannot bring him home with us because it would not be fair to the dog as he deserves to have a family that can play with him and do everything the right way that doesn’t have health issues over their head, preventing them from doing what ### would. Thank you so much for listening to our prayers. With all of our heart, Lord, that you will make a way for this precious dog. He was surrendered to the animal shelter with his sister, a lab, but she was adopted by a rescue group. It is because he does have a medical condition that needs to be followed by a veterinarian. Not for the state of our health and unforeseen things we’ve had to deal with at home and take care of would be the perfect family for him, but reality is we cannot offer him everything that he needs currently, so we are asking you to put a hedge of protection around ### and find him the ideal home as soon as possible. We know that there’s nothing you can’t do, please help this incredible dog who deserves a second chance. I have cried so many days; I am out of tears. I feel like I have failed because I’m unable to bring ### home. We just cannot do it at this time. That is simply the reality of the situation, but my husband and I wish that we could; it’s just that we cannot be so selfish that we would bring him here, knowing that we couldn’t do everything that he would need. A lot has changed since we lost our dog last year. We were led to this, but it’s not the reason we thought perhaps the reason that we bring this prayer for his well-being to you so that you can intervene and help him soon as possible because he borrowed time.
Thank you, Jesus, for hearing our heartfelt prayers. We have the community of prayer warriors here to please pray for this request. We know that there are much more serious prayers on this for him and so forth, but the life of this beautiful dog is just as important as he is a precious creature of God
