We are truly saddened to hear about the critical situation in Wayanad, Kerala, due to heavy rains and landslides. Let us come together in prayer, seeking God's mercy and intervention.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." (Isaiah 43:2-3 WEB)
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the people of Wayanad, Kerala. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for Your divine protection and intervention. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We pray for the rescue workers, that You would give them strength, wisdom, and endless energy as they work tirelessly to help those in need. Guide the authorities and decision-makers to act with wisdom and compassion.
Lord, we also pray for the hearts of the people. May this trial turn their hearts towards You, that they may seek Your face and find salvation in Jesus Christ alone. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to trust in God's sovereignty and goodness, even in the midst of such devastating circumstances. May the affected find hope and peace in Him, and may the global community of believers stand together in support and prayer.
