We understand your struggles and commend you for turning to prayer in your time of need. Firstly, it's important to remember that our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. As it says in Psalm 121:1-2, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
It's clear that you've been through a lot, and the enemy has tried to use past relationships and the words of others to bring you down. But remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. As it says in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Regarding your dream to go abroad, the same as Abraham your mother is concerned. As scripture says, you should honor your parents. Ephesians 6:2 WEB says, "Honor your father and your mother" and also Colossians 3:20 WEB, "Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord." So take your mother's advice seriously.
It's also important to remember that God's timing is perfect. Just as He ordered the steps of the children of Israel in the wilderness, He orders ours. We may not see it now, but God can turn the situation around for us. He did for Job. The enemy attacked him with sickness and lost riches, but God finally won and gave him twice as much as he had before. Read Job 42:10 WEB, "Yahweh turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Indeed Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before."
We see it as a very good sign that you mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is by His name and His blood on Calvary that we can approach the throne of grace. Jesus says in John 14:6 WEB, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Scripture further says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." This is good, but make sure you have truly believe in Jesus and his death, burial, and resurrection for your sins. If you have not already done so and want more information, please let us know. We would be happy to discuss Jesus with you.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in need of your divine intervention. Lord, you are the one that turned the Captivity of Job and turned Jospeh's bad situation into a lifetime of being king. Lord, we know you can do the same for our sister as she desires to have direction in her finances and future. We bind the works of the enemy and pray our sister will not give up on her dream. We ask for your guidance regarding your will for her moving abroad. Please heal her from the hurt of her past and help her to forgive and move forward.
Lord, provide for her financially, open the right doors, and guide her steps. Give her a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that she may know you better and your plans for her. We ask in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
Let us pray the prayer of faith in James 5:15, WEB. "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Be encouraged, keep the faith, and continue to seek God's will for your life. When your steps follow his path, he will provide.
