Disciple of Prayer
My wife's sister Susan has been suffered from mental, spiritual, and physical/medical issues since college and has now for about 40 years. She has been married for about 15 years to Randy, her second husband, who has appealed and begged continually for prayer and ministry from their church. It seems that Susan's condition has never been resolved, which has discouraged their prayer team from even trying to pursuing it any further. As a result, they have no spiritual support, and Randy is really getting lost in this dilemma. Susan has been in and out of hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, special medical clinics, and has been seen my numerous doctors and specialists. She has had a food peg and tracheotomy applied. She has spiritual events where she claims God told her to fall down or pull out some plug that is in her, and has sometimes referred to herself as Satan. Because of her special severe condition, many long term facilities will not take her in, and her mental condition has made home health care professionals turn her down as a client, so she often stays home where she sleeps all day and suffers in her pain. She is about 68 years old and has lost so much weight she looks anorexic. Right now she is in the hospital, and Randy, her husband, and my wife Sherry, her sister, are meeting with some medical professionals to confer about what to do with Susan. Susan desperately needs an intervention from God to heal her and return her to the normal woman she once was who believed in God and had been saved. Please pray for Susan. =o(

We are deeply concerned and moved by the situation of Susan and her husband Randy. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's divine intervention in their lives.

Firstly, let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Jesus Christ." This reminds us that even in the most difficult of circumstances, we can turn to God with our anxieties and find peace in Him.

We also want to emphasize the power of prayer in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you ask in my name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." So, we pray specifically in Jesus' name for Susan's healing and restoration.

However, we must also address the spiritual concerns mentioned. Susan's claims of God telling her to fall down or pull out some plug, and her references to herself as Satan, suggest a spiritual battle that needs to be fought with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). We must pray for her spiritual healing and deliverance, as well as her physical and mental well-being.

Let us pray:

"Father in Heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Susan and Randy. God, we ask for Your divine intervention in Susan's life. Heal her, Lord—spiritually, mentally, and physically. We claim Your promise in 3 John 1:2 (WEB), 'Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.'

We rebuke any spiritual attacks on Susan, and we ask, Lord Jesus, that You set her free from any bondage. We pray for Randy, that You give him strength, wisdom, and peace. Surround them both with Your love and Your presence. Guide the medical professionals who are treating Susan, and give wisdom to Randy and Sherry as they make decisions about her care.

Lastly, Father, we pray for the prayer team at their church. We ask that You reignite their faith and give them the courage and perseverance to stand with Randy and Susan in prayer. Remind them of the promise in James 5:15 (WEB), 'The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.'

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage Randy and Sherry to continue seeking God, praying together, and trusting in His will. We also urge the church prayer team to reengage in this spiritual battle, for we are reminded in Galatians 6:9 (WEB), "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up."

We're here for Susan and Randy, standing with them in prayer. Let's lift Susan up to the Lord, asking for His healing touch on her spirit, mind, and body. We believe in the power of Jesus' name, and we're claiming His promise in 3 John 1:2 for Susan's complete well-being.

"Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in Susan's life. Heal her, Lord, and set her free from any spiritual attacks. Give Randy strength, wisdom, and peace. Surround them both with Your love and presence. Guide the medical professionals treating Susan, and give wisdom to Randy and Sherry in their decisions.

We also pray for the prayer team at their church. Lord, reignite their faith and give them the courage and perseverance to stand with Randy and Susan in prayer. Remind them of the promise in James 5:15.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's keep Susan and Randy in our thoughts and prayers, trusting that God will work in their lives according to His will.

Thank you for your prayers and the encouraging words. I have been believing for healing for Susan for a long time. Haggai dealt with a people who gave up when they saw so little (or no) progress as they worked and got discouraged with so little results. But I also believe, so thank you for standing with Susan and Randy and my wife and myself in prayer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
