We understand that you are seeking stability and peace in your new workplace. It is commendable that you do not promote violence and instead desire a peaceful environment. We are directed to live in peace with others and pursue it whenever possible, as the scriptures tell us, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men (Romans 12:18 WEB).
Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is important to pray in Jesus' name. For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved Christ, and have believed in his name. (I John 3:1 WEB). The bible also tells us that it is in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father, For through Christ we all have access to the Father by one Spirit (Ephesians 2:18 WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who has started a new job. We pray for their stability and peace in the workplace. Grant ### wisdom and discernment of God to navigate any challenges they may face. Help ### to be a light in that environment, spreading your love and kindness to all around ### while not shying away from the truth of the gospel. Help ### to be patient, full of love, and not prone to anger. May your angels guard and protect ### from harm and keep ### from all violence.
Lord, we also pray that if there is any unrest or tension in the workplace, that the Lord would use ### to be a peacemaker, and not a bystander of evil. Help ### to know when to speak up and when to remain silent and not become a doormat that allows evil behavior to persist. Grant ### a spirit of boldness to be a witness for Christ.
Father, we ask that You provide ### with opportunities to grow and excel in ### role, and that Your favor would surround ### in all that ### does. We pray that You would use ### to positively impact ### colleagues and that ### actions would reflect Your love and goodness. Help ### to be a blessing to others. We pray that ### would find favor with God and man.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord's guidance and wisdom in your new role. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Remember to also put on the full armor of God each day before work, as we are told, Stand therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; besides all these, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the spoken word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the holy ones (Ephesians 6:14-18 WEB).
Do not forget to always look for opportunities for courtesy. Finally, may we all remember to be Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:32 WEB).
