Let's urgently lift up Genesis
against spiritual warfare. "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" (Isa 54:17). Trust God's protection: "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge" (Ps 91:4). Praying for His intervention and peace. In Jesus' name!

Dear Lord,
These teens + their families live in considerable poverty, + have to work hard to scrape a living together. They deal with job losses, food insecurity, housing insecurity (their flimsy homes often get flooded or washed away), + disease. Without the Compassion I. center, they would have little chance of surviving, + even less hope.
I pray for a slowdown in the spread of the virus in Bangladesh, as well as safety and opportunities for those whose homes have been destroyed by the floods.
You promised not to leave children like N and Las orphans; you would come to them, + so you have! The work you have inspired + aided serves as a powerful reminder that you are at work, and you allow us to be a part of that work through our prayers and support.
Please bless all the volunteers + staff who go out of their way-literally + figuratively- to make sure these families have what they need in every way. The children go to school till they're 18, + being literate, they can find better jobs. They can also teach their elders to read, write, etc.
There is so much to be grateful for, but much to be done. Please continue to provide for these children, esp. those who are still waiting to be sponsored. Protect them + their families from all forms of evil, + above all from unbelief. In your holy name, amen.
